Hey everyone, I hope your all doing ok and hope the new year has been a great start for you. We are now on Day five of our Declutter Challenge and today was all about getting the home office and paperwork all sorted, don't forget to follow along on my Instagram to see how I've been getting these tasks ticked off.

I've Created this list to give you a idea of what you can be throwing away and getting that clutter out your life but also remember that although things may not fit you anymore or be to your taste anymore it could be somebody else's so rather than throw it away why not take it to your local charity shop, this way your also helping the environment and not letting things end up in landfill. (helpful tip don't walk around the charity whilst you there you don't want to add more clutter whilst your trying to declutter)

How are you finding the declutter challenge? Are you finding doing one area a day easier than trying to tackle it all at once?

I'm always here if you need any help or advice until the next time
take care jess x

January Declutter Challenge

Happy new year everyone and what better way to start the year by doing a declutter challenge! I've put together a 30 day challenge for us all to follow along and smash it. You can follow me along everyday on my Instagram to see the methods I use to help get this challenge done and find easy solutions to maintain the clutter.

Day one I'll be starting on the 1st of January but if you've enjoyed a night out for new years eve don't worry you can always catch up it's also about finding a routine and be able to stick to it and maintain in your everyday life. How I get started is I will have a box for donate, a bag for rubbish and a box for things I need to sort through. I Find keeping things into three separate piles really helps not adding the clutter into different parts of the house.

I have found over the last year that all the clutter in my house causes me so much stress and anxiety as I don't know where anything is and I have felt ashamed to let people in, I have started to make improvements but there is a long way to go, and having a husband doesn't help believe me! I've designed this challenge to help us all but to be fun and help support one another because we all are in this together.

My best tips I have Learnt are:
1) Get a List prepared if you can see in written form what needs to be done it gives you that bit of satisfaction when you tick it off
2) Get that Sorting system in place so as I mentioned before a Box for Dump, A bag for rubbish and a box for things to be sorted through. ( sometimes depending on the area I'm decluttering I may even add a box for Donated items to go in
3) If you are going through items have a think at when you last used it or wore and be firm with your decisions. ( for example if you haven't used or wore it for over a year, you need to ask yourself that question do you need it
4) Clean as you go! Once you've finished decluttering you don't want to go back and clean afterwards this is a great way to get some deep cleans done at the same time
5) Keeping all counters as decluttered as you can will help make your home more organised and tidy as it won't look as cluttered.
6) Finally when going through food items, medicines or cosmetics make sure to check the dates as it's very easy for things to fall to the back of that cupboard and be forgotten about

To print out a copy click on the link added and if you get involved head on over to my Instagram @the_hinchinglife_1996 and Tag me I would love to see your Progress and Before and afters!

We've got this, Happy new year!

A little Welcome to my Blog and a little post about me

 Hey Everyone,

I'm so excited that this will be My first Blog post, I've been wanting to start my own Blog for a while and last night I finally did it:)

So, here's a bit all about me I Grew up in a small town in Dorset called Bridport and to say My childhood was amazing is a bit of an understatement, I enjoyed spending lots of time with My family and still do. However, when I started Secondary School, I've come to realise this is where My Mental Health started. I was constantly picked on in school if it wasn't for wearing glasses, it was being overweight or being friends with the people I was Friends with. School Life was hard and when I Left, I Thought My Life would get better again but sadly that wasn't True.

I decided to try College but Sadly that wasn't for me Either, so I went into Full time work. I will go into a bit more detail in another blog but let's move onto what this Blog is going to be about. When I moved to Bournemouth with My now Husband life really changed for me things were starting to look up but even though I was Happy I was still struggling with My Mental Health, I started on Medication and did some counselling and still am doing all this and just living my life without any regrets and follow all of my dreams.

I came across the lovely Mrs Hinch on Instagram and found a love for cleaning, organising and Decluttering so that's when I started My account and loved every minute of it and still do if you want to check out some of My videos My Tag is the_hinchinglife_1996 I would love to meet more of you over there and chat to you :) Not only do I find cleaning & organising fun it really has helped my anxiety and help me to think clearer when everything is neat and tidy it feels better.

so, I'm going to be writing all about My Favourite Home hacks from cleaning to organising, getting things decluttered. My Favourite cooking & Baking Recipes, Money Saving tips and also all my favourite DIY and Craft ideas. There will also be new things to come so keep your eyes peeled and if there is anything you need help with, I'm always up to helping people and also learning new things at the same time from all you guys as we all know no one is perfect and there is always room for improvement right!

I'll keep this short as there's lots more to come and I'll see you on the next Blog

love to you stay safe x
